Juventus are already plotting a fresh attempt to sign Randal Kolo Muani after missing out on the French forward during the January transfer window.

The Serie A giants had made a late move for Kolo Muani, identified by coach Luciano Spalletti as a key addition to bolster their attack following their failed pursuit of Victor Osimhen last summer.

The Nigerian striker had been heavily linked with a move to Turin, but negotiations stalled over wage demands.

Financial constraints during the winter window also prevented Juventus from completing a deal for Kolo Muani.

Despite this setback, the club’s efforts have helped strengthen relations with PSG, who were reportedly open to a loan arrangement with an option to buy, according to Il Bianconero.

Tottenham had been a potential hurdle in the transfer, but the Premier League side will no longer influence Kolo Muani’s future from June, when he is set to return to Paris.

Tuttosport reports that Juventus now have the time to prepare a third approach for the Frenchman, who was reportedly keen on a move to Turin even in January.

Jean-Philippe Mateta remains an alternative option. The striker recently saw a proposed transfer to AC Milan collapse and is now contemplating knee surgery for a long-standing issue dating back to 2019.
