Juventus linked with AC Milan’s French-Malian midfielder Youssouf Fofana
Youssouf Fofana, the French-Malian midfielder currently at AC Milan, has been linked with a move to Serie A rivals Juventus.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder joined Milan from Monaco in August 2024 for €26m and remains under contract at San Siro until 30 June 2028. His current market value is listed at €23m.
Fofana has made 68 Serie A appearances, scoring three goals and providing nine assists. He also helped Milan win the Italian Super Cup during the 2024-25 season.
The reported interest would represent a potential domestic move for a player who has spent the past two seasons in Italy after establishing himself in France with Monaco and Strasbourg. Fofana made 173 Ligue 1 appearances before leaving Monaco for Milan, scoring nine goals and recording 16 assists.
He was part of France’s squad that finished as runners-up at the 2022 World Cup and has also won the French league cup with Strasbourg in 2019.
Fofana’s existing Milan contract does not expire until 2028, meaning any move to Juventus would require an agreement between the two clubs rather than a free transfer. There is no indication that a deal has been completed, with the midfielder remaining an AC Milan player as the rumour develops.
