Juventus are eyeing a potential move for out-of-favour Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, with an unnamed German club also reportedly showing interest.
The 26-year-old France international, born in France to Congolese and Angolan parents, has struggled for game time this season under Enzo Maresca’s management, despite being a key player for Chelsea last year under Mauricio Pochettino.
Disasi, a former Monaco centre-back, has seen his opportunities dwindle, having played only 184 minutes in the Premier League so far. With his future at Stamford Bridge uncertain, the Blues are reportedly open to letting him go in the upcoming January transfer window. A move to Serie A or the Bundesliga could offer Disasi the chance to regain his form and secure regular playing time, though it’s unclear whether a loan or permanent transfer is on the cards.
With Juventus looking to strengthen their defense, Disasi’s move could be just the fresh start he needs to rediscover his best form in one of Europe’s top leagues.
