Juventus eye teenager Tegra Bolongo in move from Lausanne U16
Congo striker Tegra Bolongo of Lausanne U16 is being linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus as the Italian club step up their recruitment of emerging attacking talent. The 15-year-old, who plays in attack for FC Lausanne-Sport’s U16 side, has attracted interest from Turin as they monitor options to strengthen their youth ranks.
Bolongo, born on 24 September 2010, has been part of Lausanne’s set-up since last summer and is viewed within the Swiss club’s structure as an attacking option at youth level rather than the senior side. Any switch to Juventus would initially be expected to involve their academy system, with a view to integrating him into the club’s youth pathway.
The teenager joined Lausanne U16 in July 2025 from Ouchy’s youth ranks on a free transfer, having previously been on the books of Concordia Lausanne at junior level. His rapid progression between local youth setups and into Lausanne’s programme has coincided with growing attention from abroad.
Lausanne are yet to formalise their stance on Bolongo’s future as he continues to develop within their U16 squad, but the lack of a long-term senior contract leaves scope for negotiations should Juventus move forward with their interest.
