Juventus eye Franck Kessie summer return to Serie A
Juventus has identified Franck Kessie as a key midfield target for the upcoming summer transfer window and is carefully tracking his situation at Al-Ahli.
The former Milan and Atalanta player remains highly valued in Turin, but several hurdles stand between interest and a completed deal.
Contract demands and conditions
For any move to happen, Kessie must first signal that he is ready to leave Saudi Arabia and accept a sizeable reduction in his current salary. Juventus, meanwhile, needs to secure Champions League qualification to offer a competitive project and justify the financial package. According to Tuttosport, the club is prepared to table a two-year contract worth 5 million euros net per season, which aligns with the minimum figure Kessie is said to be considering.
Competition and Al-Ahli stance
Inter and Fiorentina are also monitoring the situation, but Al-Ahli is in no rush to lose one of its stars. Since arriving, Kessie has been central to their success, contributing to victories in both the Arab Super Cup and the AFC Champions League Elite. The Saudi club is even ready to maintain his current 14 million euro annual salary to convince him to stay.
Kessie leaning toward Italy
Despite this, Kessie is reportedly inclined to return to Italy after three years abroad in order to compete consistently at the highest level again. If all conditions align, Juventus appears well placed to lead the race for his signature this summer.
