Juventus extend Nico Gonzalez contract through to 2030

Juventus have announced that Nico Gonzalez has signed a new contract with the club, keeping the Argentina international at the Serie A side until 2030.

Gonzalez spent last season on loan at Atletico de Madrid, with an option to buy that would have become mandatory if certain conditions were met. Those conditions were not fulfilled, leaving the Spanish club to decide to return the player to Juventus.

The 28-year-old originally joined Juventus from Fiorentina in the summer of 2024 on an initial loan deal worth 8 million euros.

After only one season, Juventus activated their option to make the move permanent for 28 million euros.

Gonzalez has made a strong start to the current campaign, appearing in five matches and scoring two goals while providing one assist.
