Juventus monitoring Morocco’s Brahim Diaz amid uncertainty over Bernardo Silva deal
Italian giants Juventus FC are reportedly considering a move for Moroccan midfielder Brahim Diaz as they prepare for the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Real Madrid CF playmaker has emerged as one of Juventus’ main alternative targets should the club fail to secure a deal for Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Juventus officials are already working behind the scenes on their recruitment strategy for next season, with attacking reinforcements viewed as a priority area for the Turin club.
Although Bernardo Silva remains their preferred option, Juventus are said to have placed Brahim Diaz high on their shortlist because of his versatility and creative qualities in attack.
The Moroccan international is highly regarded by Juventus’ technical staff, who believe his ability to operate in multiple attacking roles could add greater dynamism and technical quality to the team’s offensive play.
Brahim Diaz remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2027, but reports suggest discussions are already underway regarding a possible extension until 2030. Such a move would strengthen the Spanish club’s position amid growing interest from several European and Saudi Arabian clubs.
Despite the speculation, Real Madrid are reportedly not actively seeking to sell the midfielder. However, the club would be open to discussions if the player expressed a clear desire to leave.
Reports also indicate that Madrid would not consider negotiations below a valuation estimated between €45 million and €50 million.
Juventus therefore face a significant financial challenge if they eventually decide to pursue the Moroccan playmaker seriously.
Diaz has continued to enhance his reputation through his performances for both club and country, becoming one of Morocco’s most technically gifted attacking players in recent years.
His composure on the ball, creativity and ability to operate across different attacking positions have made him an attractive option for clubs seeking greater flexibility in forward areas.
For Juventus, much may depend on the outcome of their pursuit of Bernardo Silva. Should that deal fail to materialise, attention could quickly shift toward Diaz as the club searches for a high-level attacking reinforcement ahead of next season.
