German-born Ghanaian prospect Justin Diehl has marked his return to action for VfB Stuttgart with a series of promising performances following a shoulder injury that kept him sidelined for weeks.
The 19-year-old forward showcased his talent most notably in Stuttgart’s recent 2-0 win over Bochum, where he came off the bench to score a decisive second goal.
His speed, agility, and composure in front of goal impressed head coach Sebastian Hoeneß, who praised Diehl’s impact.
“He gave us impetus against Frankfurt, and today, his goal helped a lot,” Hoeneß said.
Diehl’s contribution in two substitute appearances has bolstered Stuttgart’s attack, with the young talent proving his potential as a future star.
Despite limited Bundesliga experience, Hoeneß highlighted Diehl’s professionalism, humility, and work ethic, predicting a bright future for the player.
It’s only his second appearance, but he’s shown great progress,” he added.
With consistent performances and dedication, Diehl is poised to play a vital role in Stuttgart’s success in the coming seasons.
