Junior Dina Ebimbe: Eintracht Frankfurt winger linked with Schalke 04 move
Junior Dina Ebimbe, the Cameroon- and France-qualified right midfielder currently at Eintracht Frankfurt, is being linked with a move to Bundesliga rivals FC Schalke 04. The 25-year-old, valued at around €6m, is the subject of a rumoured deal that is considered more likely than not to happen, with the probability of a transfer currently rated at 53%.
Dina Ebimbe has one year left on his Frankfurt contract, which runs until 30 June 2027, placing the German club in a strong position to negotiate a fee rather than risk uncertainty over his future deep into next season. Schalke are exploring options to reinforce their wide and midfield areas, with the Frankfurt man emerging as a leading candidate.
The winger returned to Frankfurt earlier this summer after a season-long loan at Ligue 1 side Stade Brestois, having originally joined the German club permanently from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2023 for €6.5m. Since moving to the Bundesliga, he has produced eight goals and six assists in 57 league appearances, underlining his impact in Germany’s top flight.
Dina Ebimbe has also shown himself on the European stage, featuring in both the Europa League and the UEFA Champions League, and was part of PSG’s title-winning squad in the 2021–22 French championship campaign. Born in Stains and standing at 1.84m, he operates primarily on the right side of midfield and is right-footed.
For now, Dina Ebimbe remains a Frankfurt player preparing for the new season, with his future expected to hinge on whether Schalke decide to formalise their interest with an offer that matches his contractual and market valuation.
