Juma Bah has secured a six-month loan move to RC Lens from Manchester City, with the 18-year-old defender set to help fill the gap left by Abdukodir Khusanov’s recent transfer to the Premier League giants.
The loan will see Bah feature for Lens for the rest of the season, strengthening their defense as they adapt to life without the Uzbek international.
Lens had been actively searching for a center-back during the current transfer window following Khusanov’s departure but faced challenges due to financial constraints. However, a newly established partnership with Manchester City provided the perfect solution. Bah, who has quickly made a name for himself at Real Valladolid this season, was signed by City and immediately loaned out to the French club to continue his development in Ligue 1.
With Lens’ immediate need for reinforcements, the loan move benefits both clubs, giving Bah valuable playing time at a top-flight club while aiding Lens in their push for further success this season.
