Jules Kounde reaffirms Barcelona commitment

Jules Kounde has moved to shut down growing transfer speculation by making it clear he sees his future at Barcelona and is not pushing for a move away.

The French defender, who remains a key part of Barca’s backline, pointed to the length of his current deal as proof of his intentions.

“I have a contract until 2030. In my opinion, that says it all,” Kounde said, underlining his belief that his situation is already clear. Speaking while on duty with the France national team, he explained that club noise is not his priority right now.

“Right now, while I’m with the France national team camp, these kinds of things take a back seat. Until further notice, I’m fully focused on the current tournament,” he added.

Kounde stressed that his focus is firmly on the pitch and helping Barcelona remain strong in defence over the coming seasons. “But I’m at Barca and I hope to stay here,” he said, offering a reassuring message to supporters worried by recent rumours.

His stance brings a sense of stability at a time when the club continues to reshape the squad, with his versatility and reliability still highly valued at Camp Nou.
