Juan Alvina has touched down in Cairo with excitement and high hopes as he begins his journey with Egyptian giants Zamalek.
The Brazilian winger, signed from Ukrainian side Oleksandria, sealed a four-year deal this week and already feels part of something special.
“I am very happy and excited to join Zamalek and to be part of the biggest club in Africa. We are the kings. We are Zamalek,” Alvina shared on Instagram shortly after the announcement.
The club’s management confirmed the signing on Wednesday, marking another key addition during a busy summer window aimed at rebuilding the squad.
Zamalek have been active in the market, bringing in Mehdi Suleiman on a free transfer for two seasons, Angolan forward Chico Banza from Portugal’s Estrela da Amadora, and Amr Nasser from Pharco on a five-year deal.
They’ve also secured the experience of Abdullah El-Said with a two-year renewal and added Palestinian striker Uday Dabbagh from Charleroi on a four-year contract, showing their intent to compete strongly in the upcoming season.
