JS Kabylie fans endure airport nightmare in Cairo
Supporters of JS Kabylie traveled to Egypt hoping to cheer their team in the match against Al Ahly, but their journey quickly turned into a nightmare.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, these fans, along with other travelers, found their luggage withheld by authorities for over two days without explanation. This chaotic situation echoed a previous ordeal at the Oum Teboul border, leaving the group frustrated and unable to enjoy their trip.
Despite repeatedly contacting Air Algérie and airport staff, the supporters received no assistance or updates regarding their missing belongings. The lack of help left many stranded, unable to move about freely or follow their original plans. As time wore on, frustration and exhaustion mounted, overshadowing their enthusiasm for the match.
In desperation, JS Kabylie fans issued a public plea for urgent intervention from Algerian officials, Air Algérie, their travel agencies, and the club’s management. They hope united efforts can quickly resolve the crisis and end their ordeal. For now, the fans remain in limbo, far from the spirited journey they had imagined.
