Joy Brito: Angola winger joins FC Syunik from AC Vila Mea
Angola winger Joy Brito has joined Armenian Premier League club FC Syunik from Portuguese side AC Vila Mea, completing a move on 2 August 2026.
Brito, 19, plays as a left winger and was born in Luanda. The right-footed attacker spent the 2025-26 season with AC Vila Mea after moving there from Vizela U23 in August 2025.
His recorded playing figures include 25 appearances and two goals in Serie B, while he also contributed three goals and five assists in 14 Liga New Gen appearances. In the Revelacao U23 Championship, Brito scored once and provided one assist in 13 matches.
He also found the net twice in five Portuguese Cup appearances, adding one assist. Those figures represent his recorded involvement across domestic league, development and cup competitions before his switch to FC Syunik.
Brito began his career with P. Luanda U19 before moving to Santo Adriao in January 2024. He joined Vizela U23 from Santo Adriao in July of the same year, with that move recorded as a free transfer.
The move to FC Syunik takes Brito outside Portugal for the first time in his club career and places him in Armenia’s top division. His new side competes in the Premier League, while AC Vila Mea played in Portugal’s Campeonato de Portugal Serie A.
Brito’s previous club spell followed a season at Vizela U23, where he had continued his progression after leaving Santo Adriao. His earlier move from P. Luanda U19 to Santo Adriao was also completed without a transfer fee.
FC Syunik have now added the Angolan wide player to their squad, with Brito’s registered position listed as left wing. At 1.77m, he offers the club another attacking option on the flank as he begins a new chapter in Armenia.
The transfer history records Brito’s departure from AC Vila Mea and his arrival at FC Syunik on 2 August 2026. Joy Brito is now an FC Syunik player.
