Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has lauded his teammate Amad Diallo, highlighting the Ivorian winger’s extraordinary ball control and technical ability.
“You cannot get the ball from him, the ball sticks to his feet, it’s ridiculous. I read somewhere that someone said ‘Ivorian Messi’ and it’s… basically yeah, this guy is really good.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have him now with us. I hope he recovers in the best way possible from his injury.
“Great player and amazing talent and yeah he’s going to be very very good for us when he comes back,” Zirkzee said.
The 21-year-old underwent surgery last month, and early reports suggested he could be out for the rest of the campaign.
Amad Diallo has been a key player for United, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 35 appearances this season. His return would provide a significant boost as the team pushes for a strong finish.
