Joseph Minala Joins Bari on Season-Long Loan from Lazio
Joseph Minala, the 18-year-old Cameroonian midfielder, has officially left Lazio to join Serie B side Bari on a one-year loan deal, which includes an option for the club to make the move permanent.
Minala made his Serie A debut for Lazio last season and attracted considerable attention earlier this year amid controversy over his age. However, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has since closed the investigation, confirming the player’s age after reviewing all evidence.
“The federal prosecutor has reviewed the reports of the allegations and has decided to close the case in light of concrete evidence regarding the age of the player Joseph Minala,” the federation stated.
