Joseph Colley leaves Poland for Albanian side KF Tirana

Defender Joseph Colley has left Polish club Wisla Krakow after three and a half years and is set to join KF Tirana in Albania, according to reports from Poland.

The 27-year-old, who made 78 competitive appearances for Wisla, has agreed a deal with the Tirana-based club and will join as a free agent.

Wisła Krakow won the Polish second division this season, and Colley was a key part of their defence throughout his time there. His move to Albania marks a fresh challenge in a new league, where KF Tirana finished sixth in the top flight last season.

The transfer comes as the summer market begins to heat up, with Colley choosing a straightforward move over waiting for more complicated offers. His experience in Polish football, combined with his age and leadership qualities, should make him an immediate option for Tirana’s back line.

For Colley, this step offers regular playing time and the chance to establish himself as a mainstay in Albanian football while continuing to develop after his breakthrough years in Sweden and Poland.
