Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese coach of Real Madrid, achieved a significant milestone by coaching his 100th match in the Champions League at the age of 49. This milestone was reached during a Group D clash against Manchester City. Mourinho’s coaching experience in the Champions League includes 29 matches with Real Madrid, 17 with Porto, 33 with Chelsea, and 21 with Inter Milan. He surpassed the previous record held by Italian Carlo Ancelotti, who achieved this feat at the age of 51. Mourinho joins a select group of coaches, including Arsène Wenger, Otmar Hitzfeld, and Alex Ferguson, who have also surpassed the century mark in Champions League matches.
