Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho has filed a lawsuit against Turkish Super League side Galatasaray.
This comes just a day after the coach was banned for four matches by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and fined £35,218.
The controversy erupted after Mourinho, who currently manages Fenerbahce, made comments about the Galatasaray bench “jumping like monkeys” during a recent 0-0 draw between the two Turkish rivals.
In a fight back, Jose Mourinho has filed a lawsuit against Galatasaray, seeking 1,907,000 Turkish Liras (£41,467, $52,212) in moral compensation due to an alleged “attack on his personal rights.”
Amid all these, Jose Mourinho’s club, Fenerbahce, has defended him, insisting that his comments were “completely taken out of context and deliberately distorted.”

Former African players Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, and John Mikel Obi have all jumped to the defense of Mourinho, stressing that he is not racist.
