Jordi Osei-Tutu: Millwall secure free-agent move from Bolton
England-Ghana right-back Jordi Osei-Tutu has joined Millwall from Bolton on a free transfer, becoming the Championship club’s latest addition on 21 August 2026.
The 27-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. Osei-Tutu, who was born in Slough, is a right-footed defender standing 1.76m tall and gives Millwall an experienced option at full-back.
He arrives at The Den after two seasons with Bolton, having moved to the club from German side VfL Bochum in August 2024. His transfer to Millwall follows the expiry of his time with Bolton and completes a move between two Championship clubs.
Osei-Tutu made 82 League One appearances during his career, scoring three goals and providing four assists. He has also played 12 times in the Championship, while his record includes appearances in Germany’s Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, as well as Greece’s top flight with PAS Giannina.
The defender began his senior career at Arsenal after joining the club’s youth system from Reading in 2015. He progressed from Arsenal’s under-18 side to the under-23s before spending time on loan with VfL Bochum, Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United.
His spell at Rotherham brought a Football League Trophy winners’ medal in the 2021-22 season. He later left Arsenal’s under-23 setup for VfL Bochum on a free transfer in July 2022, returning to Germany after his earlier loan spell there.
Osei-Tutu also featured in Arsenal’s run to the 2018-19 Europa League final, when the club finished as runners-up. Across his career, he has recorded five goals in 21 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga and two goals in four EFL Cup matches.
Millwall have completed the signing as Osei-Tutu’s market value stands at €400,000. The move gives the club a player with experience across English football, Germany and Greece, while adding another right-back to their squad for the 2026-27 campaign.
Osei-Tutu is now a Millwall player on a free transfer from Bolton, with his contract in place until June 2027.
