Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew is on the brink of a significant transfer within the English Premier League, with multiple reports confirming that he is set to leave Crystal Palace to join newly-promoted Leicester City.

According to *London News Online*, the 32-year-old striker has agreed to a deal with Leicester City, marking the next step in his Premier League journey.

The two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement that will see Ayew move for a fee of £8 million, including potential add-ons.

This deal not only gives Leicester a boost in their attacking options but also brings Ayew the opportunity for a fresh challenge after six years at Selhurst Park.

Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the transfer, revealing that Ayew will be joining his fellow Black Stars teammate Abdul Fatawu Issahaku at the King Power Stadium.

This reunion adds a dynamic Ghanaian presence to Leicester’s squad as they aim to establish themselves firmly in the top flight following their promotion from the Championship.

Jordan Ayew’s departure from Crystal Palace brings an end to a successful six-year spell with the Eagles.

Having signed with the South London club in 2017, Ayew became an integral part of the squad.

In 212 appearances across all competitions, he contributed 23 goals and 22 assists, solidifying his reputation as a reliable forward who could play in a variety of attacking roles.

Ayew’s time at Crystal Palace saw him win the club’s Player of the Season award in 2019-2020, a reflection of his work rate and contributions on the field.

Despite often being deployed in deeper or wider attacking positions, his commitment to the team’s cause never wavered, earning him the respect of both fans and teammates alike.

Leicester City, freshly promoted from the Championship, have shown their intent to strengthen their squad with this signing.

The Foxes will be hoping that Ayew’s experience in the Premier League and his versatility in attack can help them adapt to the higher level of competition.

The deal is expected to be completed in the coming days, with Ayew poised to begin a new chapter in his career under Leicester City’s new management.

This move also offers Ayew the opportunity to continue his Premier League legacy while contributing to Leicester’s ambition to stay competitive in the top tier.

As Jordan Ayew prepares to make his switch to the King Power Stadium, he leaves behind a commendable legacy at Crystal Palace.

His dedication and contributions to the club will not be forgotten, while Leicester fans eagerly anticipate what the Ghanaian forward can bring to their side.
