Jordan Ayew Attracts Interest from Olympique Lyonnais and Other Ligue 1 Clubs
Jordan Ayew is gaining serious attention in the transfer market. With the departures of Bafétimbi Gomis and Jimmy Briand, Olympique Lyonnais is in search of a new forward and has set its sights on the Olympique de Marseille striker. According to Le Progrès, OL president Jean-Michel Aulas is particularly keen on the 22-year-old, who played 33 matches and scored 6 goals in Ligue 1 during the 2013–2014 season.
Ayew is also being monitored by Lille, Saint-Étienne, and Nice. While the Ghanaian international has expressed a desire to move to the Bundesliga, OM is open to selling and is reportedly asking for €4 million. This valuation aligns with Lyon’s financial capabilities.
Meanwhile, his older brother André Ayew is also expected to leave Marseille, with Serie A likely to be his next destination.
