Jonathan Okita has completed a loan move from Turkish side Bodrum FK to Saudi Arabian club Damac FC, joining the Saudi Pro League outfit from the 1. Lig team on 02/02/2026. The left winger arrives on a temporary deal classified as a loan transfer, with his parent club set to retain his registration until the scheduled return date of 30/06/2026.

The move takes the 29‑year‑old DR Congo and Germany dual national out of Turkey’s second tier and into Saudi Arabia’s top flight, where he will represent Damac FC while his contract with Bodrum FK continues to run in the background. According to the latest data, Okita holds a market value of €350k, with Damac opting for a loan rather than a permanent purchase, leaving the door open for Bodrum FK to reassess his future once the loan expires. The structure of the deal also means that, depending on the length of his underlying contract in Turkey, the winger could be closer to a future free‑agent scenario once this loan spell concludes.

Okita’s switch to Damac adds another chapter to a well‑travelled career. Born in Köln and standing 1.81m tall, he has already played in Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Turkey. His senior path has taken him from Royal Union Tubize‑Braine and the Standard Liège system, through loan spells at KSV Roeselare and Union Saint‑Gilloise, before a move to MVV Maastricht in the Netherlands. From there he stepped up to NEC Nijmegen, then on to Swiss Super League side FC Zürich, and most recently to Bodrum FK in Turkey’s 1. Lig.

At Bodrum FK, Okita’s market value fluctuated over recent updates, dipping from €550k to €350k in the space of his Turkish spell, reflecting both the club context and his changing role. Prior to joining Damac, he had already built a reputation as an attacking left winger capable of operating across the front line, with a right foot that allows him to cut inside from the flank. His rise in value to as high as €2.5m during his time at FC Zürich underlined his potential at the peak of his Swiss stint, before a gradual decline in recent seasons.

The Saudi Pro League move places Okita once again outside his home countries, DR Congo and Germany, and continues a career largely forged abroad. He has never been a long‑term fixture in either nation’s domestic leagues at senior level, instead progressing through Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey and now Saudi Arabia. With Damac FC competing in a league that has gained increasing global attention, his performances in this loan spell could determine whether he returns to Bodrum FK as a key asset, secures a permanent move within Saudi Arabia, or edges toward free agency.

As he begins this new chapter at Damac FC, Okita’s trajectory will hinge on how effectively he adapts to the Saudi Pro League and re‑establishes his value. A strong campaign in Saudi Arabia could revive his market standing, enhance his reputation across multiple markets, and shape the next decisive contract of his career once his loan concludes on 30/06/2026.
