Joel Masutha has been appointed head coach of Motsepe Foundation Championship side The Bees FC, returning to the club after leaving his assistant role at Betway Premiership outfit Kruger United this week.
The 43-year-old, who has held coaching positions at several clubs, first joined The Bees in February 2026. His task was to prevent the club from relegation, and he guided them to a 10th-place finish before departing.
Masutha subsequently joined Mpumalanga-based club Kruger United, where he worked as assistant coach to Abram Mongoya.
Mongoya had led the Village Boys to the Motsepe Foundation Championship title and automatic promotion to South Africa’s top flight during the 2025/26 campaign.
The Bees confirmed Masutha’s return on Thursday.
