Malian winger Jimmy Kebe is making a return to the Premier League, having signed a three-year deal with Crystal Palace. The transfer fee for Kebe’s move from Reading to Crystal Palace remains undisclosed. Kebe has been in England since 2008, initially experiencing top-flight football with Reading for two years before their relegation. Despite the setback, he continued to play a crucial role for Reading, featuring in 190 matches over 5 and a half years.
Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has made Kebe his 11th signing of the summer. The Malian player, who was trained in Lens and has also played for Chateauroux and Boulogne, expressed his delight at the opportunity to return to the Premier League, stating, “It’s a very good opportunity for me. I no longer believed in a transfer this summer, but returning to the Premier League was my priority. I’m very happy.”
Kebe, a Malian international with three caps, will be looking to make a significant impact at Crystal Palace and contribute to the team’s performance in the Premier League.
