Jesse Bisiwu: Barca Atletic eye move for Club NXT Belgian-Ghanaian winger
Barca Atletic are exploring a move for Belgian-Ghanaian left winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club NXT. The 18-year-old, who plays in Belgiums Challenger Pro League, has emerged as a target for the Spanish sides Segunda Federacion campaign as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
Bisiwu, a right-footed winger standing at 1.85m, has been a regular for Club NXT, making 36 league appearances and contributing two goals and two assists. His exposure to senior football in the Belgian second tier at a young age is understood to be a key factor in Barca Atletics interest as they assess wide players capable of adapting to a technical, possession-focused environment.
The Bruges-based prospect also has experience in continental youth competition, featuring 14 times in the UEFA Youth League and scoring three goals. That blend of domestic second-tier minutes and European youth football has placed him on the radar of scouts monitoring emerging wide players across the continent.
Bisiwu joined Club NXT in July 2023 from Club Brugges youth ranks and is under contract until 30 June 2027, a situation that is likely to strengthen the Belgian clubs negotiating position. His current valuation is around 800,000, providing a reference point for any talks over a fee.
For now, Bisiwu remains part of Club NXTs plans heading into the new season, with Barca Atletic weighing up whether to turn their interest into a formal approach for the winger.
