Leroy expressed that he was drawn back to football by the passion for the sport and the sports project at FCIOP (Football Club Istres Ouest Provence).
This unexpected return has garnered attention, especially considering Leroy’s previous announcement of retirement. He has had a varied career, playing for clubs like PSG, Marseille, Rennes, and Evian. After leaving football, Leroy took up martial arts, particularly practicing “MMA” (Mixed Martial Arts), although MMA competitions are prohibited in France.
