Jeremie Frimpong confident he can deliver more for Liverpool

Jeremie Frimpong admits his first season at Liverpool has been a frustrating one but insists fans have not yet seen the best of him.

The Dutchman’s debut campaign at Anfield was heavily disrupted by injuries, limiting his impact and rhythm.

“A lot more. A lot more. I feel like I can do a lot more,” he told The Anfield Wrap when asked what he can bring next season. “Obviously I’ve been injured most of the season, but I believe in myself and I know what I can do. So, I know I can bring a lot more, 100%.”

Despite the setbacks, Frimpong remains excited about what lies ahead with Liverpool and is fully focused on contributing to a trophy-chasing side. “Of course I’m excited for the future. We’re at Liverpool, you know, we compete for things,” he added.

He also highlighted the strength and depth of the squad, stressing how internal competition can push everyone to a higher level. “We have a great squad. Everyone’s good, you know. There’s competition everywhere.” With a full pre-season and better luck on the fitness front, Frimpong is convinced he can offer much more to Liverpool next term.
