France-Cameroon winger Jean-Mattéo Bahoya is being linked with a move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, with the switch currently rated at a 54% probability.

The 20-year-old, valued at €25.00m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of growing speculation over a potential transfer from the Bundesliga to Saudi Arabia’s top flight. Data from Transfermarkt lists Al-Hilal as the main suitor, though there is no indication that an agreement has been reached and no contract details have been finalised.

Bahoya’s contract situation at Frankfurt is not disclosed in the available data, leaving open the possibility that he could either command a substantial fee or, in time, become a free-agent option for interested clubs. For now, the suggestion of a move to Al-Hilal remains a rumour rather than a completed deal.

Born on 7 May 2005 in Montfermeil, Bahoya represents both France and Cameroon at nationality level and operates primarily as a left winger, cutting in from the flank on his favoured right foot. He wears the number 19 shirt for Frankfurt and stands at 1.80m, adding a blend of physical presence and technical ability in wide attacking areas.

The forward’s rise has been swift. Moving through Angers SCO’s youth structure – from Angers SCO Formation to the U17s, then Angers SCO B and finally the first team – he earned a transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2024 from Angers SCO. His market value has climbed sharply from €100,000 at Angers SCO B in 2022 to its current €25.00m mark at Frankfurt, reflecting his growing reputation in the Bundesliga.

Recent form has underpinned that surge in value, including a notable outing for Frankfurt in a recent Bundesliga fixture, where he featured on the left wing and contributed with his direct running and creativity in a competitive scoreline for the German side.

Having already experienced senior football in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, a move to Al-Hilal would add the Saudi Pro League to Bahoya’s CV and could significantly alter the trajectory of his career, potentially accelerating both his global profile and long-term prospects if the rumoured transfer ultimately comes to fruition.
