Jean-Luc Dompe: Hamburg winger linked with Konyaspor move

Jean-Luc Dompe, the French and Ivorian winger at Hamburg, has been linked with a move to Konyaspor in Turkey’s Super Lig.

Dompe, 31, plays as a left winger and remains under contract with the Bundesliga club until 30 June 2027. The reported interest comes with the player valued at €2.5 million.

He joined Hamburg from Belgian side Zulte Waregem in August 2022 for €1.1 million and has since established himself at the club. Dompe was named the 2. Bundesliga’s best assist provider for the 2024-25 season.

The winger has not made an appearance for Hamburg in the 2026-27 DFB-Pokal record, with the competition showing one possible game so far. No transfer fee or probability has been attached to the reported link with Konyaspor.

Dompe began his senior career in France before moving to Belgium, where he played for Sint-Truiden, Standard Liege, KAS Eupen, KAA Gent and Zulte Waregem. He won the Belgian Cup with Standard Liege in 2016.

Any move to Konyaspor would therefore represent a return to a different domestic league for the experienced wide player, but the rumour remains at the linking stage while he is contracted to Hamburg for another season.
