Jean II Makoun, the Cameroonian midfielder who has been on loan to Stade Rennais from Aston Villa, is set to make a permanent move to the French club. Aston Villa’s official website announced that Stade Rennais has decided to exercise the purchase option included in Makoun’s loan, and he will join Rennes on a full-time basis starting from June.
