Jean Fiore: Italian-Congolese defender joins Albese from Torino U20

Italian-Congolese centre-back Jean Fiore has joined Albese from Torino U20, signing a contract with the club until 30 June 2027. The 19-year-old, who plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, completed his move on 27 July 2026.

Born in Kinshasa on 23 February 2007, Fiore holds both Italy and DR Congo nationality and has been developing within Torino’s youth system. His switch to Albese marks his first move away from the Turin club’s set-up and gives him the opportunity to step into senior football on a more regular basis.

Fiore arrives at Albese with recent success at youth level, having been part of the Torino Under-18 side that won the Italian Youth Championship (U18) in the 2024-25 season. That title represents the standout achievement of his career so far and underlines the level he reached in the Primavera structure before making this latest step.

With a current market value listed at €10,000, Fiore’s transfer reflects Albese’s decision to invest in a young defender with competitive experience in the Italian youth leagues. His ability to operate at the heart of the back line offers Albese an additional option in central defence for the upcoming campaign.

The deal, confirmed this week, ties Fiore to Albese for the 2026-27 season under a contract running through to the end of June 2027.
