Jarell Quansah set for summer exit as Liverpool open to offers

Jarell Quansah’s time at Liverpool could be nearing its end, with the club reportedly ready to listen to offers for the 22-year-old defender this summer.

Despite making his professional debut for Liverpool in a 2–1 win over Newcastle United on 27 August 2023, Quansah has struggled to secure a consistent role in the starting lineup. The young centre-back, who replaced Joel Matip in that Premier League game, has only started seven matches in 2025 under new manager Arne Slot.

Quansah made his 40th appearance for Liverpool in their recent 3-2 defeat to Brighton, but only 13 of those starts have come this season, highlighting his limited role.

Reliable journalist Florian Petersburg reports that multiple Bundesliga and English clubs are showing serious interest in signing Quansah.

“A sale of the 22y/o centre-back this summer is not ruled out.”

With Virgil van Dijk recently signing a new deal and Ibrahima Konate firmly established beside him, Quansah’s chances of regular football at Anfield appear slim.
