Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah is embracing a career-defining moment after earning a senior England call-up under Thomas Tuchel.
The young center-back expressed his excitement over the opportunity, calling it a “surreal feeling” as he steps into the squad with a renewed sense of belonging.
“It’s a surreal feeling. Obviously, with the last camp, it was to step in and stuff like that. But this one is definitely the first one where I feel part of the squad, it’s a great feeling.
“Football’s about ups and downs. Last time, not doing what I wanted to and not being picked for the Euros. I just tried to bounce back and be in a better position for this season.
“It’s good to be part of the plans,” Jarell Quansah has shared.
Tuchel’s squad is preparing for the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia, both crucial matches on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Quansah’s rapid progression has not gone unnoticed by Liverpool manager Arne Slot, who praised the young defender’s mentality and development.
