In a thrilling development, Japanese-Ghanaian forward Wadi Ibrahim Suzuki is set to rejoin Tokushima Voltis on a temporary loan deal from Azul Claro Numazu, marking a significant moment in his career.
Azul Claro Numazu officially confirmed the move, stating: “I would like to inform you that Tokushima Voltis (J2) has decided that Wadi Ibrahim Suzuki will join with a breeding deadline transfer. In addition, the breeding deadline transfer period is until January 31, 2026, and during the period, it is not possible to participate in the official battle against Tokushima Voltis.”
The 21-year-old forward, born in Kanagawa Prefecture, boasts an imposing frame at 192cm tall and 85kg, making him a formidable presence on the pitch. Suzuki’s journey has been remarkable, with stints at Valencia CF, CF Badalona, and Girona FC B in Spain before returning to Tokushima Voltis.
A former Japan youth international, Suzuki represented the U-15, U-16, and U-17 teams between 2016 and 2018. His return to Tokushima promises to add firepower and experience to the team’s attack as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
