James Bello: Karvina sign Nigerian winger on loan from Viktoria Plzen B

MFK Karvina have signed Nigerian left winger James Bello from Viktoria Plzen B on a loan deal running until 30 June 2027. The 21-year-old moves to the Czech second-tier side after spending last season between Viktoria Plzens reserve team and a loan spell at SILON Taborsko.

Bello, who was born on 1 May 2005, has been registered primarily as a left-sided attacker and will join Karvina ahead of the 2026-27 campaign in the Czech National Football League. His move follows a series of temporary switches within Czech football as he aims to establish himself at senior level.

The winger has already built up experience across domestic league and cup competitions as well as brief outings in European fixtures. Across his appearances in the Czech Football League and other competitions, he has contributed goals and assists, including 11 goals and nine assists in 29 CFL matches and further goal contributions in the national cup.

Bello originally arrived at Viktoria Plzen B following a spell with Right2Win SA and has since been sent out on several loans, including at Pardubice and SILON Taborsko. His current market value is listed at 200,000, and his contract with Karvina is due to expire on 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Viktoria Plzen B at the end of the loan.
