James Adeniyi is being linked with a return to Turkish football, with Boluspor reportedly exploring a move for the Hapoel Petah Tikva centre-forward.
The 33-year-old, listed with a market value of €175k, is currently on the books of Hapoel Petah Tikva in Israel’s Ligat ha’Al but has emerged as a rumoured target for Boluspor of the Turkish 1. Lig. Transfermarkt lists the deal only with a probability mark of “?”, underlining that talks – if any – are at a very early and uncertain stage.
Adeniyi’s contractual situation at Hapoel Petah Tikva is not specified, which raises the possibility that he could become a free agent and move without a transfer fee. That prospect would make him a low-risk attacking option for Boluspor as they look to strengthen their forward line.
Born in Lagos on 20 December 1992, Adeniyi holds Nigerian and Albanian nationality and is predominantly a right‑footed centre-forward. Over a career spanning more than a decade, he has built a reputation as a well-travelled attacker across several leagues, including spells in Albania, Azerbaijan, Israel and Türkiye.
His club journey began with FK Bylis and FK Tomori Berat before a breakthrough at KF Laçi and then title-chasing KF Skënderbeu in Albania.
