Jamal Travis Mutyaba is set to start a new chapter in Tunisia after reaching a final agreement to join CS Sfaxien this summer.
The Ugandan midfielder, who previously played for Zamalek and Girondins Bordeaux, will sign a three-year deal with the Tunisian club.
“Mutaba finalized his agreement with the Sfaxien management two days ago, and is scheduled to officially sign a three-season contract tomorrow, Saturday,” a source close to player told Kooora.
“The player is currently preparing to travel to Tunisia to officially sign the contract, after all the details have been agreed upon. Tomorrow, he will be a player for Sfaxien,” the source added.
Mutyaba ended his time with Zamalek in late 2024 after making 11 official appearances for the club without finding the net.
Though his stay in Egypt was short, his move to CS Sfaxien offers a chance to reboot his career in a league known for its competitive edge and talent development.
