Jagiellonia bring in French-Senegalese winger Ousmane Sow from Brondby
Jagiellonia have signed French-Senegalese winger Ousmane Sow on loan from Brondby, giving the Polish club a new option on the right side of their attack.
The 26-year-old, who was born in Dakar, completed the move on 17 August 2026. His stay with Jagiellonia runs until 30 June 2027, when the loan is scheduled to end and he is due to return to Brondby.
Sow plays primarily as a right winger and is left-footed. He joins Jagiellonia after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Brondby, having moved to the Danish club from Polish side Gornik Zabrze in January 2026.
Before leaving Gornik, Sow helped the club win the Polish Cup during the 2025-26 campaign. His move to Brondby followed a spell in Poland that began when he joined Gornik from Belgian club Lierse SK in February 2025.
The switch to Jagiellonia represents Sow’s return to Poland after his brief spell in Denmark. He had previously built his career in Belgium and France, moving to Lierse from Olympic Charleroi in January 2024 after joining the Belgian side from AS Furiani several months earlier. His first recorded senior move was from AC Arles to AS Furiani in October 2022.
Sow’s arrival adds a player with experience of both Polish and Danish football to Jagiellonia’s squad. He has been registered with the club for the 2026-27 season and will wear the number 30 shirt.
Brondby signed the winger after his time at Gornik, where he had established himself in Polish football following his move from Lierse. Jagiellonia’s agreement now takes him back to the Ekstraklasa for the duration of the 2026-27 campaign.
The winger’s contract arrangement means his current spell in Poland is clearly defined, with the loan ending on 30 June 2027. Sow has therefore completed a temporary move from Brondby to Jagiellonia.
