Jack Diarra attracts transfer interest from AEL Limassol

Burkinabe winger Jack Diarra is attracting transfer interest from AEL Limassol despite only recently joining Espérance Sportive de Tunis, where he remains under contract until 2028.

The 19-year-old forward has emerged as a target for the Cypriot top-flight side after an encouraging first season in Tunisia.

Although Diarra has not enjoyed regular starting opportunities, his performances whenever called upon have reportedly impressed AEL Limassol’s management.

The young Burkina Faso international has shown flashes of quality throughout the campaign, making the most of limited minutes in a competitive Espérance squad. His pace, attacking movement and ability to influence games in short appearances have helped raise his profile beyond Tunisia.

During the current season, Diarra featured in 17 Tunisian Ligue 1 matches, scoring four goals and contributing one assist. Those numbers have strengthened the belief among interested clubs that the winger possesses significant long-term potential despite his young age.

A move away from Tunis could offer the player greater continuity and more consistent playing time, something viewed as important for his development at this stage of his career. However, his future remains uncertain as Espérance still hold a long-term contract with the player.

Interest in Diarra is not limited to Cyprus. French club OGC Nice are also believed to be monitoring the progress of the Burkinabe youngster as European clubs continue tracking emerging African talent.

The coming weeks may prove decisive in determining the winger’s next step. Diarra must now decide whether to continue his development with Espérance Sportive de Tunis or consider a potential move abroad in search of increased opportunities.

Despite his limited experience at senior level, the attacker’s performances this season have already generated growing attention within the transfer market. His estimated market value currently stands at 200,000 euros according to Transfermarkt.

At just 19 years old, Diarra remains one of the young Burkinabe players attracting increasing interest as clubs prepare for the summer transfer window.
