Franco-Togolese footballer Jonathan Ayité has made a return to Brest, and he is among the 19 players called up by coach Landry Chauvin. Having recovered from adductor pain, Ayité is set to play against Toulouse in a match scheduled for Saturday as part of the 10th day of Ligue 1.
However, the team will be without defender Ismaël Traoré, who has been withdrawn from the lineup due to ankle pain.
Jonathan Ayité, a 27-year-old Togolese international, is a product of the Girondin training center. He has represented Togo in the 2008 and 2012 CAN qualifiers. Despite being injured, he did not participate in the qualification of the Togo Sparrowhawks for the 2013 CAN. His return to the field for Brest adds depth and experience to the squad.
