Iyed Belwafi: Raja Casablanca linked with move for CS Sfaxien winger
Tunisia right winger Iyed Belwafi of CS Sfaxien is being linked with a move to Moroccan side Raja Casablanca as the Botola Pro Inwi club explore attacking reinforcements this summer.
The 23-year-old, who was born in Mezzouna and plays primarily on the right flank, is under contract with CS Sfaxien until 30 June 2028, meaning any deal would require negotiation with the Tunisian Ligue 1 side rather than a free transfer. His current market valuation is around €400,000, a figure likely to shape initial discussions over a possible fee.
Belwafi has emerged as a regular for Sfaxien in the Tunisian top flight, making 57 league appearances and scoring 13 goals. He also has experience of continental competition, having featured for the club in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The winger has been part of the Sfaxien senior set-up since 2022, progressing from the club’s U21 ranks. During the 2024–25 season he spent a loan spell at US Ben Guerdane before returning to Sfaxien at the end of that campaign, a move that gave him additional top-flight minutes inside Tunisia.
Raja are understood to be assessing options in wide areas as they look to add productivity and depth in the final third, with Belwafi’s profile fitting the age and contractual status they are targeting. For now, the Tunisian remains a CS Sfaxien player, tied to the club for another two years.
