Tonight, Wednesday evening, the Ivory Coast national team, dubbed “The Elephants,” will face off against the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the semifinals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, a tournament slated to conclude on February 11th.
“The Elephants” secured their spot in the semifinals after defeating Mali with a 2-1 victory in the quarterfinals, while the Congolese “Leopards” advanced to the same stage following a 3-1 win over Guinea.
