Ivory Coast is set to host three crucial matches in the qualifiers for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), with games scheduled across prominent venues in Abidjan.

Guinea, Chad, and the Central African Republic will compete against their respective opponents over three consecutive days this week.

The Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan will stage the first match on Friday, December 20, 2024, as Guinea takes on Guinea-Bissau.

This encounter is expected to be highly competitive as both sides vie for a vital step toward securing qualification for the continental tournament.

On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Chad will face the Democratic Republic of Congo at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Ebimpé, Abidjan.

DR Congo, a traditionally strong contender in African football, will aim to solidify their standing, while Chad hopes to create an upset and advance in the qualifiers.

Sunday, December 22, 2024, brings a doubleheader at the Stade Alassane Ouattara.

The Central African Republic will go head-to-head with Cameroon, while the hosts, Côte d’Ivoire, will clash with Burkina Faso in a highly anticipated local fixture.

The latter match, involving the Ivorian Elephants, is expected to draw significant attention as the home team seeks to make a statement on their road to CHAN 2025.

In a move to encourage attendance, organizers have announced free entry for all matches, except those involving Côte d’Ivoire, where ticket fees will apply.

This initiative aims to foster strong support for the participating teams and promote the spirit of the championship.

The CHAN 2025 qualifiers are a critical step for nations aiming to showcase their homegrown talents on the continental stage.

The tournament, exclusively featuring players competing in their domestic leagues, has grown in stature as a platform for emerging football stars.

Ivory Coast, already preparing to host the Africa Cup of Nations in 2024, is expected to deliver a high standard of hospitality and organization for these pivotal fixtures.

As the matches approach, fans across the continent will have their eyes on Abidjan, anticipating thrilling action and significant developments in the journey toward CHAN 2025.
