The elective general assembly of the Ivorian Boxing Federation (FIB) is scheduled for Saturday, November 10. In an effort to address challenges and promote unity in Ivorian boxing, President Arsène Yoboué is inviting clubs not currently affiliated with the FIB to join the federation.
The Ivorian boxing community has faced recurring crises, and the upcoming election is seen as an opportunity for a revolution in Ivorian boxing. President Arsène Yéboué is encouraging all clubs to affiliate by reducing the membership fee to zero francs, down from the previous amount of 120,000 FCFA.
President Yéboué expressed the importance of uniting all clubs under the FIB to strengthen Ivorian boxing. Despite the financial impact on the federation’s resources, he emphasizes the need for solidarity and hopes for the collective support of Ivorian boxing.
In addition to the assembly, the FIB executive office has announced the resumption of the novice and beginner championships, scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 2, 2012.
