Ivory Coast striker Bakary Soumare joins AC Tripoli from Al-Mabarra

Ivory Coast striker Bakary Soumare has joined AC Tripoli from Al-Mabarra, adding a 25-year-old centre-forward to the Lebanese Premier League club’s squad.

Soumare’s move was completed on 20 September 2026. The forward arrives after one season with Al-Mabarra, having joined the club from SO Armee in September 2025. No transfer fee has been disclosed.

Standing 1.80m tall and predominantly right-footed, Soumare has built his career as a central attacking player. His record in the Lebanese Premier League includes 14 appearances and four goals, with 1,173 minutes played and a goal every 293 minutes.

He has also featured in France’s Ligue 1, making 10 appearances and playing 264 minutes. His career record includes a further appearance in the Ligue I Pro Playoff II, while he has also been registered for the Tunisian Cup.

Soumare began the 2021-22 campaign with SO Armee before moving to AS Soliman in August 2021. He returned to SO Armee later that season, then left Tunisia for US Tataouine in January 2022. His switch from US Tataouine to SO Armee in August 2022 was completed as a free transfer.

The move to AC Tripoli represents the latest step in a career that has taken the Ivorian forward across clubs in Tunisia, France and Lebanon. His arrival gives the Lebanese side a striker with experience in multiple domestic competitions and a proven record of scoring in the Lebanese top flight.

Soumare’s career-best recorded market value was €125,000, while his current valuation is €75,000. Those figures provide context to the profile of a player now entering a new chapter with AC Tripoli, although they do not form part of the transfer terms.

AC Tripoli have completed the signing of Bakary Soumare from Al-Mabarra, with the Ivorian forward joining the club on 20 September 2026.
