Ivory Coast star Franck Kessié seeking contract termination at Al Ahli

Ivory Coast international Franck Kessié is bent on departing Saudi Arabia giants Al Ahli in an attempt to make a return to Europe.

The 28-year-old experienced midfielder joined Al Ahli in summer 2023, with his current contract expected to elapse in 2026.

According to reports, the former Barcelona and AC Milan star is keen to return to Europe and has started talks with the Saudi club’s management regarding an amicable termination of his contract.

Since joining Al Ahli from FC Barcelona in 2023, Franck Kessié has established himself as a key member of the team, making 87 appearances, scoring 17 goals and delivering 9 assists across the period.

His consistent performance and leadership in midfield have made him a key player in Al Ahli’s project.

Currently, talks over Kessié’s future at Al Ahli have stalled, raising concerns about his possible exit from the club.
