Following the criticism and discussions surrounding Sabri Lamouchi’s position as the coach of the Ivory Coast national football team, it has been confirmed that he will continue in his role. Despite the public and media scrutiny, Lamouchi received support from Sidy Diallo, the president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), after a meeting with club presidents. Additionally, Alain Lobognon, the Minister of Sports, expressed the view that changing the coach just seven months before the 2014 World Cup would not be appropriate. As a result, Lamouchi will lead the Elephants to the World Cup in Brazil.
