Ivory Coast international Seko Fofana is set to join Portuguese giants, FC Porto in the current winter transfer window.
The 30-year-old midfielder is joining Porto on loan until the end of the 2025/26 football campaign, with French outfit Stade Rennes accepting a temporary transfer for the Ivorian.
The former Al Nassr star is expected to travel to Portugal for medical examinations before putting pen to paper.
Having arrived in Rennes in January 2025 from Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, the Ivorian midfielder hopes to relaunch his career with a new challenge.
Seko Fofana has been unable to establish himself at Rennes. Since joining the French club, the Ivorian midfielder has played 28 matches, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the French Ligue 1.
The experienced midfielder will be hoping to rediscover his form in Portugal, with Porto move imminent.
He joined Rennes in January 2025, with his current contract with the French outfit expected to expire in the summer of 2029.
