It’s indeed good news for Kader Keita and his supporters as he makes a fresh start in Hungary with Budapest Honved. The former Ivorian international, who has been without a club since his departure from the Gulf region, has signed a contract with Budapest Honved until June 2015.
Keita’s career has seen him play for various clubs, including Galatasaray SK in Istanbul, where he quickly became a fan favorite due to his speed and technique. He also had a successful stint with Al Sadd Doha, winning the 2011 Asian Champions League.
After being released from his sporting commitments with Al Sadd Doha, Keita had a trial with the Philadelphia Union in MLS in May 2013. Now, he looks forward to making an impact with Budapest Honved in the Hungarian league.
